Beam — Remote for Hisense TV · Effective July 10, 2026
Beam is built to work without knowing who you are. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and we do not collect your name, email, or any contact information.
Beam discovers and controls your TV over your home Wi-Fi network. Commands travel directly from your iPhone to your TV and never pass through our servers. Pairing credentials for your TV are stored securely on your device (in the iOS Keychain) and nowhere else.
If you use Voice Search, audio is converted to text on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Recordings never leave your iPhone.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
We collect anonymized usage events (for example, "a remote button was tapped" or "onboarding was completed") to understand how the app performs and improve it. These events are tied to a random identifier, not to you. They contain no content from your network, no TV viewing information, and nothing that identifies you personally. We do not sell data to anyone.
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing to request or delete. Removing the app removes everything it stored on your device.
Beam is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
